Artist's Comments

There, now I'm really done with this! Not too much of a change from the last update, I pushed the contrasts on Skyfire just a bit and added some shadows...basically you'd have to have the last post up along side this one to see a difference. Ah well...I did attempt to make the waterfall steam more billowy, it didn't work. ¬_¬

Hope you like it, Kez!

Cool. 2 suggestions: add more billowing steam and rapids to the waterfall... think Niagara Falls
add some dirt stains to mr. robotto ... he has been walking around and sitting on rocks and whatnot, right?

and maybe a 3rd... make the ricks he's sitting on feel more rocky, like, wiht no sand/dirt on them, since all of that would have prolly been washed away by water... and maybe water streaks from that effect.

They're all subtleties though.
Good work!

Very cool pic, your watercolur work is very clean. My only suggestion is more contrast in the whole pic, and in Skyfire's figure, mainly. Just in order to get a metallic texture.

Hrmm, I really don't know how to get the metallic texture right with watercolor. I'll see what I can do about the contrast. Since this is just a photo of the painting it doesn't look the same as it does in real life. More contrast couldn't hurt it tho, I guess...

It's so prettyyyyy! *.* So bright and sunny! I love the way the shadows fall across him.

Spaced-out denizen of the anime multiverse. Behold.

More contrast is for the whole pic... and hard contrast is for the metallic texture. To draw metals with watercolour is very hard, but you may try it. Just check out the colouring of the armours of my pics, even if they're made with CG, you may get the idea. :)

Wow, it's like an instant update!

Looks really good. I like the softness of this picture. :)

Very lovley. No additional comments. Too busy gawking at the marvelous picture.

Hrmm, I don't know how to do steam for the waterfall, and some how I doubt if I did I'd be able to do that anymore. I'll see what I can pull off though, since that's something I really like and wanted to show in this. Making him a bit dirty I can pull off (actually, he flew there, not walked). Just depends on if my friend wants him to look that way. (Kez?)

Water streaks...I wish I was that talented. I'll add some more shadows to the rock he's on, too. Thanks for the suggestions. :)
